No Commercial Potential: I wish I liked anything as much as kids like bubbles

I have ~600 Compact Discs.

As of moving, I have a broken CD player.

Before moving, I still never listened to my CDs. On the rare occasion that I buy a physical CD, it would go in my computer one time to be ripped to mp3 and then It would be relegated to disuse with all the others.

My question is, now that I lack equipment (other than the computer, obv) to play a CD even if I were so inclined, what the crap do I do with all these damn CDs?

Do you need 600 coasters?

i had this same dilemma a few years ago. my solution was to buy two big case logic binders, each of which holds 200 cds, ditch all of the jewel boxes, and alphabetize them all with an insert booklet and a cd in each pouch.

i don’t go back to the “source” all that often, but sometimes i do…and it’s rather comforting to know they’re still around, organized, and taking up very little space.

lord knows that if you can’t find value in your old cds, there is probably very little to be found.
